Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant
Location: Azaz

Line Manager: M&E Deputy Manager




To support Programme Manager with collection and storage of accurate ongoing project

monitoring data, and evaluation data from projects’ target.


·         S/he answers to M&E Manager.

·         S/he closely collaborates and assists to Senior M&E Officer in Gaziantep/Turkey

·          S/he collaborates with other members of M&E team in Northwest Syria.



·         Collecting ongoing project monitoring data for all projects.

·         Inputting project monitoring data into database/tablet

·          Producing monthly summaries of monitoring data for presentation to M&E Manager

·          Producing ad hoc monitoring reports as requested by M&E Manager

·         Support M&E Manager with mid-term and final evaluation data requirements

·         Experience and Qualifications Required:

1.      Experience of collecting data at community level

2.      Computer literacy for entering data into database

3.      Solid Excel skills

4.       Reporting skills

5.      Good ESLC passes in English and Maths



Education and experience:


· University degree in international relations, social sciences, statistics, or other related fields preferably (e.g. economics, sociology, social work, psychology, law and human rights, etc);

  • At least 2 years’ experience with NGOs.
  • Proficient in word, excel, power point, Skype and social networks;

Candidates must be able to interact with sensitivity with all stakeholders respecting diversity and gender. A capacity for working under pressure is essential, as work is often in difficult and demanding conditions, where the focus frequently shifts due to changes in priority. The candidate is expected to have excellent analytical and communicative skills, show initiative and take both a hands-on and an analytical approach to tasks and problems.
